Nazgul Turdubekova is the creator and leader of the Public Foundation "Child’s Rights Defenders League".
For more than 20 years, Nazgul has been leading advocacy in Kyrgyzstan.
During her professional career, Nazgul was a member of various working groups and coalitions for the protection of human rights and children, she headed the Coordinating Council of the National Center for the Prevention of Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment. She also participated in the development of the normative legal acts of Kyrgyzstan (the Children's Code, the Comprehensive Program for Supporting Families and Children, etc.) and the preparation of periodic reports to UN committees.
Since 2014, Nazgul is a child rights adviser to the Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic.
A citizen activist, participant of international conferences and programs, a defender of human rights and children.
