On October 2, 2017, the excursion for students from schools No. 81 and 94 was held in Bishkek.
Forty adolescents from the Bishkek schools №81 and №94 got information about work of the Youth Parliament, and visited the building of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic. During their visit, the children could become acquainted with the young members of the Youth Parliament, as well as with the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh.
The adolescents noted that they had never been in the parliament building and had no idea about its work; there were many questions on their part about solving problems with garbage near schools, the importance of providing schools with computers and becoming a deputy.
Also on this day, the pupils of the two schools visited the student campus of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. The excursion in the library, student hostel, gymnasium, and computer class for the children caused great interest and a storm of emotions; students found a desire and hope to study at this university.
The Child’s Rights Defenders League on behalf of the adolescents of schools № 81 and № 94 expresses great gratitude to the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University and Youth Parlament 2017 for facilitating the organization of meetings.
These visits were implemented by the PF the Child’s Rights Defenders League and with the support of UNODC
